2nd Swing and The First Tee Start a Club Donation Program
Through the agreement, customers can send pre-owned clubs to 2nd Swing Golf and choose to donate the trade-in value of the clubs to a designated chapter of The First Tee or The First Tee home office. Chapters can also trade in donated equipment and receive a portion of the value to support their programs.
“Our team at 2nd Swing is very excited to provide The First Tee with a process that allows golfers to make a monetary contribution by donating their used golf equipment,” said Simon Kallal, CEO of 2nd Swing. “The program will be a great benefit to participants of The First Tee as chapters and the home office will receive a financial contribution for all equipment donated.”
“This is a great opportunity to formalize a club donation program for The First Tee,” said Joe Louis Barrow, Jr., chief executive of The First Tee. “We appreciate 2nd Swing Golf’s interest in supporting the mission of The First Tee.”
