Bushnell Hybrid Laser GPS Golf Rangefinder

Bushnell Hybrid Laser GPS Golf Rangefinder: $499.99

The 2014 Bushnell Hybrid Laser GPS golf distance-finder is billed as the world’s first laser rangefinder and GPS in one. The rangefinder is intended to help with course management and efficient club selection by telling you how long you need to hit the ball and how long you have been striking it.

“Combining laser accuracy with GPS convenience, it’s just the game-changer you need.” —

The 2014 Bushnell Hybrid Laser GPS rangefinder also features the company’s “PinSeeker Technology” is used by more than 90 percent of PGA Tour pros (Distance-finders are allowed during Tour practice rounds.).

“Bushnell’s laser rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 Laser beam (as classified by the FDA) which is ‘bounced’ off distant objects with the press of a button,” according to the company.

It has a plus or minus 1-yard accuracy rate, 5-times magnification and the ability to locate distance to the front, center and back of green.

Plus, the GPS function offers 25,000-plus pre-loaded North American golf courses with “Auto-Hole Advance” and “Auto-Course Recognition” technology with no one-time or re-occurring membership fees, according to Bushnell.

Feature explanations:

  • PinSeeker Technology, which ensures accurate target acquisition by shutting out background hazards and isolating your target.
  • Auto-Hole Advance, which sets you up for the next hole on the course without having to do anything but walk to the tee.
  • Auto-Course Recognition, using the GPS function to figure out where you are playing and ready you for your round.
