Lots of excitement in the air at the Minneapolis Convention Center for the 2011 Minnesota Golf show.  This is the first year that 2nd Swing is the title sponsor of the event, and there was a lot of work to be done to finish set up before the show opened at 12:00pm.  With two full booths to display all of our equipment and clothing it took a lot of time and energy to be fully prepared for the opening, but as a line started to grow outside the doors we were able to fold that last shirt and place that last show special on an end cap.  Friday attendance this year at the show was really good compared to last year.  It was fun to see all the excitement in people’s eyes as they were seeing and thinking golf for the first time in several months.

Hot items at the 2nd Swing booth on Friday was out show special of Callaway FT-9 and FT-iQ drivers, for only $99.99 (a saving of $400 off of the new price) people were grabbing them quickly.  Also, the Ping Rapture Irons (show special of $489.99 originally $1100) and the Ping S57 (show special of $399.99 originally $899.99) were hot commodities for those looking for an iron set.  But the area with the highest traffic on Friday was the clothing section.  With over 5000 pieces of clothing both men and women were looking for some of their favorite brands, including Ralph Laruen, Nike, Footjoy, Fairway & Greene, Peter Millar and many others.

The MN Golf Show continues on Saturday (9-7) and Sunday (10-4).  Stop on by and say hello to the guys from 2nd Swing.
