Ping Anser Forged Irons Review
Ping is going back to where they started. Over 40 years ago Karsten Solheim produced a small number for forged irons before settling on the investment casting process. For years many have wondered in Ping would ever create a forged iron again, and for those people late 2010 with the release of the Anser iron will be a dream come true. The iron set will be in very limited quantities and difficult to get your hands on, but for the lucky few that can they will have a fantastic feeling iron.
PingGolf.com says: ”An 8620 steel body, a dense tungsten sole and machined grooves for unequalled forged-iron feel and forgiveness. Its hollow-sole cavity softens feel and positions the CG for higher-launching shots. The progressive set design offers long-iron forgiveness and short-iron control.”
2nd Swing Golf will have the ability to order these irons, but get your orders in quick the allocation is very tight in the Midwest!
